Spectators: 6736 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 0) Apollinaire Fitch started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Standhope FC's Jackson Blalock got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Apollinaire Fitch kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Renaldo McCray. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Standhope FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Barnes to maneuver through the defense. Alva Sexton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alva Sexton in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillaume Kincaid saved Standhope FC from getting behind. Alva Sexton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elmer Geiger during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elmer Geiger kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theodore Comer in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillaume Kincaid saved Standhope FC from getting behind. 28 minutes into the game, Dewayne Flint was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hixon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Standhope FC the free kick. Dewayne Flint hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When Jimmie German fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Standhope FC's protests and gave Jimmie German a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hixon FC booed when Standhope FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmie German didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Dewayne Flint shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guillaume Kincaid showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Hixon FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Wilfredo Sampson hit a great ball. Jackson Blalock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Renaldo McCray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillaume Kincaid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alva Sexton, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Standhope FC's Guillaume Kincaid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alva Sexton in the 47th minute of play. Rodrigo Clements's late challenge caught a Hixon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Clements helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes Standhope FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Clements. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Theodore Comer made the kick off in the second half. Guillaume Kincaid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theodore Comer in the 60th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Standhope FC's goalkeeper Guillaume Kincaid had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alva Sexton. After a defensive mix-up in Standhope FC's zone, Theodore Comer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillaume Kincaid came out of the goal and Theodore Comer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th match minute, Standhope FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Boyer to maneuver through the defense. Guillaume Kincaid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theodore Comer in the 85th minute of play. Alva Sexton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Guillaume Kincaid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Standhope FC's Guillaume Kincaid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theodore Comer in the 90th minute of play. After some careless play in the Hixon FC defense, Apollinaire Fitch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Renaldo McCray. The Hixon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Renaldo McCray should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alva Sexton got free with Guillaume Kincaid in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hixon FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
