After 6 minutes, Apollinaire Pham mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canol AFC and the Spurfield AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Canol AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apollinaire Pham to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Spurfield AFC's Marcellin Sierra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rosendo Petty. Rosendo Petty yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ramon Page received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Rosendo Petty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliott Drew's late challenge caught a Canol AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elliott Drew helped the player get up and apologised. Ramon Page took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosendo Petty. Rosendo Petty dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canol AFC's goalkeeper Rosendo Petty, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Canol AFC's zone, Marcellin Sierra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosendo Petty came out of the goal and Marcellin Sierra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcellin Sierra in the 36th minute of play forced Canol AFC's goalkeeper Rosendo Petty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcellin Sierra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Page could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Rosendo Petty made a huge save. Rudolph Pearce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florence Bliss in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Spurfield AFC booed when Canol AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florence Bliss didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florence Bliss was the one to do the kick off. Florence Bliss blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rudolph Pearce having to make a save. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spurfield AFC's goalkeeper Rudolph Pearce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ramon Page fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Petty having to interfere. Rosendo Petty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Page in the 64th minute of play. Spurfield AFC's Rudolph Pearce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florence Bliss in the 66th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Marcellin Sierra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rosendo Petty was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Cedrick Bledsoe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Rudolph Pearce made a huge save. Marcellin Sierra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Rosendo Petty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudolph Pearce stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florence Bliss's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. There was no doubt that Spurfield AFC were the better team. Spurfield AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
