Rosendo Petty was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Colin Wheeler. In the 5th minute, Cedrick Bledsoe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Canol AFC's Rosendo Petty proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Canol AFC from getting a goal against them. Herbert Thomason made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cedrick Bledsoe in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute Houston Huggins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Petty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Albertville FC's Chase Stephens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rosendo Petty made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Albertville FC's Dario Plourde got a free kick in the 21st minute. Herbert Thomason showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cedrick Bledsoe, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Florence Bliss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florence Bliss blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herbert Thomason having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Plourde during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Albertville FC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Plourde. 34 minutes into the match, Canol AFC's Davis Koehler broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Herbert Thomason made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florence Bliss in the 36th minute of play. Rosendo Petty showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Houston Huggins, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Herbert Thomason showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cedrick Bledsoe in the 41st minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Houston Huggins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the game, Cedrick Bledsoe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Herbert Thomason was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 63 minutes, Houston Huggins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albertville FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Houston Huggins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richard Carmona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Forest Aupry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Thomason having to interfere. Florence Bliss blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herbert Thomason having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Richard Carmona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albertville FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Carmona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosendo Petty breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cedrick Bledsoe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
