Terry Choi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcellin Sierra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Spurfield AFC's Rudolph Pearce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Munoz in the 15th minute of play. Rudolph Pearce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaylord Melendez in the 17th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Spurfield AFC's zone, Gaylord Melendez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolph Pearce came out of the goal and Gaylord Melendez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barney Barlow in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rudolph Pearce saved Spurfield AFC from getting behind. If Barney Barlow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudolf Schaffer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolph Pearce having to interfere. If Rudolf Schaffer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barney Barlow in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rudolph Pearce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcellin Sierra to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Armand-Lavergne FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gregory Hatcher was slow to take the kick. During this time Spurfield AFC's players had a chance to rest. 61 minutes into the match, Modestine Simmons dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rudolph Pearce, 1-1. Armand-Lavergne FC's Modestine Simmons got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A throw-in in the 69th minute of the game was made by Gregory Hatcher with Nicholas Mireault as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 71st minute of the match Alexis Nadeau sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rudolph Pearce skillfully saved the ball. Armand-Lavergne FC's Modestine Simmons got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Modestine Simmons who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Rudolph Pearce when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ramon Page struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Terry Choi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spurfield AFC. After having played for 81 minutes, Ramon Page managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spurfield AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramon Page was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Terry Choi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Page, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 87 minutes, Rudolf Schaffer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armand-Lavergne FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudolf Schaffer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Modestine Simmons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armand-Lavergne FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
