The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Macgregor FC defense, Houston Huggins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allan Negron. The Macgregor FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allan Negron should have stopped the shot. Herbert Thomason made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quinton Watt in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Quinton Watt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herbert Thomason. Albertville FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Quinton Watt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 33rdth minute of the game Houston Huggins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macgregor FC's Allan Negron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Albertville FC defense, Quinton Watt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herbert Thomason. The Albertville FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herbert Thomason should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Macgregor FC's Allan Negron got control of the ball when Richard Carmona tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quinton Watt in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Thomason prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Albertville FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Macgregor FC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Houston Huggins made the kick off in the second half. Allan Negron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Houston Huggins in the 51st minute of play. Richard Carmona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Albertville FC's zone, Quinton Watt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Thomason came out of the goal and Quinton Watt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the game, Quinton Watt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Herbert Thomason. Quinton Watt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. 85 minutes into the match, Quinton Watt notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Albertville FC's Herbert Thomason. Herbert Thomason was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Zackary Benton fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Macgregor FC's protests and gave Zackary Benton a yellow card for diving instead.
