Spectators: 6736 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Apollinaire Fitch got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Quinton Watt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillaume Kincaid saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5 played minutes Standhope FC got a freekick which was hit by Curtis Dupont. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quinton Watt in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillaume Kincaid saved Standhope FC from getting behind. In the 15th match minute, Standhope FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Romo to maneuver through the defense. Macgregor FC's Allan Negron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jackson Blalock in the 18th minute of play. Quinton Watt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Dias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Guillaume Kincaid when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Apollinaire Fitch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Allan Negron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jackson Blalock came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Standhope FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jackson Blalock couldn't finish the play. If Quinton Watt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quinton Watt was the one to do the kick off. Apollinaire Fitch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Apollinaire Fitch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Negron read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Jackson Blalock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jackson Blalock got free with Allan Negron in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 63 minutes, Kevin Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macgregor FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jackson Blalock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Kevin Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macgregor FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Macgregor FC's Kevin Dias got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guillaume Kincaid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quinton Watt, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Jackson Blalock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Allan Negron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apollinaire Fitch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Les Oakes charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Les Oakes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 97 played minutes Macgregor FC got a freekick which was hit by Les Oakes. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Standhope FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
