A collision led to Hatton FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Roy Driver hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Vernon Burris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Negron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vernon Burris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Allan Negron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Vernon Burris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Allan Negron was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 31st minute, Lauren Cervantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute of the match Fiacre Trépanier sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Allan Negron skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hatton FC's zone, Quinton Watt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kirby Champagne came out of the goal and Quinton Watt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Hatton FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jeff Marleau hit a great ball. Quinton Watt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Kirby Champagne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Quinton Watt to make the kick off. Vernon Burris struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Allan Negron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hatton FC. Macgregor FC's Allan Negron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Hurd in the 63rd minute of play. Kirby Champagne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Dias in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quinton Watt in the 71st minute of play forced Hatton FC's goalkeeper Kirby Champagne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Fiacre Trépanier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Macgregor FC's Gérald Hétu in action when he in the 74th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Vernon Burris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Allan Negron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute of the match, Pedro Hurd tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Allan Negron saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 80th minute, Quinton Watt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 82 played minutes Macgregor FC got a freekick which was hit by Lauren Cervantes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Hurd in the 85th minute of play forced Macgregor FC's goalkeeper Allan Negron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kirby Champagne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quinton Watt, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. If Pedro Hurd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
