The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rudolph Pearce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Houston Huggins in the 3rd minute of the match. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Spurfield AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Houston Huggins came free, but Rudolph Pearce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Houston Huggins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rudolph Pearce was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. When Richard Carmona came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Albertville FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Carmona couldn't finish the play. Ramon Page received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Herbert Thomason tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcellin Sierra succeeded in the game's 24th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Ramon Page fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Thomason having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Albertville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcellin Sierra came free, but Herbert Thomason reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Spurfield AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Houston Huggins came free, but Rudolph Pearce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudolph Pearce came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Albertville FC's Richard Carmona. But to his dismay, Richard Carmona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

The wind increased when Marcellin Sierra made the kick off in the second half. Chase Stephens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Chase Stephens fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albertville FC's protests and gave Chase Stephens a yellow card for diving instead. Chase Stephens kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Spurfield AFC's Rudolph Pearce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Houston Huggins in the 61st minute of play. Ramon Page hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Houston Huggins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albertville FC's Richard Carmona got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bryon Jewell hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Kelvin Mullins kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Ramon Page sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Albertville FC's Houston Huggins ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rudolph Pearce. Rudolph Pearce yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 94th minute of the match Enrique Pace sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rudolph Pearce skillfully saved the ball.
