Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lucien Mathieu started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbie Ouellet in the 3rd minute of play forced Louisburg's goalkeeper Anthony Couch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddie Cooke made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Ali Mora sent off a good shot on target. Malcolm Pepper's late challenge caught a Louisburg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malcolm Pepper helped the player get up and apologised. Malcolm Pepper hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, Ali Mora notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Skiff's Freddie Cooke. Freddie Cooke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the match, Skiff's goalkeeper Freddie Cooke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Mora. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbie Ouellet in the 19th minute of play forced Louisburg's goalkeeper Anthony Couch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucien Mathieu in the 22nd minute of play forced Skiff's goalkeeper Freddie Cooke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lucien Mathieu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Louisburg's zone, Sébastien Mata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthony Couch came out of the goal and Sébastien Mata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Louisburg fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Louisburg's Lucien Mathieu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Shannon Price hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes, Skiff's Fiacre Boivin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anthony Couch came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Skiff reached it. After a rather tough play, Louisburg's Christian Bédard got a free kick in the 34th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Shannon Price put in a rough tackle. In the 40th minute, one of Louisburg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Louisburg. Sébastien Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Anthony Couch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robbie Ouellet to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robbie Ouellet in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anthony Couch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ali Mora came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Louisburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Mora couldn't finish the play. After 59 played minutes Skiff got a freekick which was hit by Malcolm Pepper. Ali Mora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anthony Couch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Ouellet, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Freddie Cooke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Mora, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Freddie Cooke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Mora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Mora in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddie Cooke saved Skiff from getting behind. Ali Mora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddie Cooke having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Skiff got a freekick which was hit by Prince Varela. Anibal Walton kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The long shot by Fiacre Boivin in the 90th minute really tested Anthony Couch's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 93 played minutes Louisburg got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Lefebvre.
