The referee gave Harriston AFC a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jude Conn, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Domremy's Wilton Fitzgerald. 1-1. Doug Payton kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32ndth minute of the game Toussaint Laforest who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Harriston AFC's Rueben Lamare was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Irving Sullivan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rueben Lamare was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Errol Harrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Fitzgerald having to interfere. If Earle Hannah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rueben Lamare didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toussaint Laforest went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Errol Harrell in the 42nd minute of play forced Domremy's goalkeeper Wilton Fitzgerald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rueben Lamare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toussaint Laforest, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Harriston AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Earle Hannah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 minutes of play, Harriston AFC's Errol Harrell made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilton Fitzgerald was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th match minute, Harriston AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Earle Hannah to maneuver through the defense. Harriston AFC's Rueben Lamare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Harriston AFC from getting a goal against them. Wilton Fitzgerald stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Onesime Crowe's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Toussaint Laforest fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rueben Lamare having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Toussaint Laforest kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rueben Lamare. That made the score 2-3 in the 95 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Domremy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
