In the 6th minute, Onesime Crowe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Wilford Colvin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cadillac's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilford Colvin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rueben Lamare breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 9 minutes, Theron Clements managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cadillac's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theron Clements was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Errol Harrell in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matt Kurtz saved Cadillac from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Cadillac's Miquel Briard got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 21st minute, Cadillac's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Earle Hannah fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 23rd minute, Theron Clements left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cadillac fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Cadillac booed when Harriston AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lynn Racine didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Harriston AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gilles Moore was slow to take the kick. During this time Cadillac's players had a chance to rest. Theron Clements struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Rueben Lamare didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cadillac. In the 37th minute, Miquel Briard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matt Kurtz came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Harriston AFC's Earle Hannah. But to his dismay, Earle Hannah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Rueben Lamare didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilford Colvin went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Errol Harrell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lynn Racine charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lynn Racine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lynn Racine kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. A hard shot by Gilles Moore from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Rueben Lamare's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theron Clements in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rueben Lamare saved Harriston AFC from getting behind. David Coronado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rueben Lamare. Harriston AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilford Colvin in the 60th minute of play forced Harriston AFC's goalkeeper Rueben Lamare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilford Colvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rueben Lamare having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Earle Hannah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matt Kurtz was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Errol Harrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Matt Kurtz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Harriston AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilford Colvin came free, but Rueben Lamare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Harriston AFC's zone, Theron Clements stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rueben Lamare came out of the goal and Theron Clements tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Cadillac's Wilford Colvin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After 86 played minutes Harriston AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lynn Racine. Theron Clements blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rueben Lamare having to make a save.
