The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Henri Robitaille sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerry Rosario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georges Crain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Acme FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Singer came free, but Garret Burgess reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Georges Crain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerry Rosario was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. If Georges Crain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the game, A.C Tennycape's Henri Robitaille nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Garret Burgess made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Kasey Coats fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.C Tennycape's protests and gave Kasey Coats a yellow card for diving instead. Kasey Coats hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Darius Fluet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henri Robitaille stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gerry Rosario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darius Fluet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dewitt Reagan came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the A.C Tennycape fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dewitt Reagan couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, Acme FC's Darius Fluet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerry Rosario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Henri Robitaille sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jared Grady during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Acme FC's Jared Grady got a free kick in the 66th minute. Oswaldo Singer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Garret Burgess tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Henri Robitaille got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerry Rosario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darius Fluet in the 72nd minute of play. A.C Tennycape's Gerry Rosario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georges Crain in the 78th minute of play. Darius Fluet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Georges Crain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acme FC's Darius Fluet got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerry Rosario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georges Crain in the 90th minute of the match. Gerry Rosario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darius Fluet in the 93rd minute of play.
