Rueben Lamare was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeff Weeks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rueben Lamare having to interfere. After 14 played minutes Harriston AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jude Conn. Rueben Lamare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garrett Carlisle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Errol Harrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Seth Paquette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Meductic AFC got a freekick which was hit by Howard Riquier. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meductic AFC's goalkeeper Seth Paquette, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Onesime Crowe hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute of the match Trenton Castro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rueben Lamare skillfully saved the ball. Rueben Lamare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garrett Carlisle in the 33rd minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Harriston AFC got a freekick which was hit by Onesime Crowe. A collision led to Harriston AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Doug Payton hit a great ball. When Garrett Carlisle came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Meductic AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garrett Carlisle couldn't finish the play. Rueben Lamare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeff Weeks, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Errol Harrell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raymundo Nunn kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Jude Conn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Seth Paquette. Meductic AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Meductic AFC's Jeff Weeks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rueben Lamare narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Meductic AFC's Andreas Mendoza got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 63 minutes of play, Harriston AFC's Earle Hannah made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Seth Paquette was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Harriston AFC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Onesime Crowe hit a great ball. Meductic AFC's Seth Paquette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Errol Harrell in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Meductic AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Howard Riquier to maneuver through the defense. Jude Conn was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Errol Harrell in the 78th minute of play forced Meductic AFC's goalkeeper Seth Paquette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Earle Hannah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Meductic AFC's Jeff Weeks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rueben Lamare narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeff Weeks got free with Rueben Lamare in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rueben Lamare made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeff Weeks in the 90th minute. Rico Boucher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Harriston AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rico Boucher came free, but Rueben Lamare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 99 minutes into the match, Meductic AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Earle Hannah came free, but Seth Paquette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Meductic AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Harriston AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
