The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Bilodeau FC's Barrett Starks got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute of the match Harriston AFC got a corner. Bilodeau FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jude Conn ran over to the corner to take the kick. 40 minutes into the match, Harriston AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Morgan Meier came free, but Rueben Lamare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Harriston AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Errol Harrell was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Morgan Meier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rueben Lamare. Harriston AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Morgan Meier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Morgan Meier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 minutes, Lynn Racine mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Harriston AFC and the Bilodeau FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bilodeau FC booed when Harriston AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lynn Racine didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 played minutes Bilodeau FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert McKinley. After a defensive mix-up in Harriston AFC's zone, Morgan Meier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rueben Lamare came out of the goal and Morgan Meier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jack Milligan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rueben Lamare having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Errol Harrell in the 77th minute of play forced Bilodeau FC's goalkeeper Cesar Crandall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Earle Hannah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Morgan Meier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Harriston AFC's Ignacio Ruth got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 88 minutes of play, Bilodeau FC's Jack Milligan made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rueben Lamare was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jack Milligan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bilodeau FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
