In the 21st minute, Herbert Lécuyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilford Pittman's late challenge caught a Dunnville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilford Pittman helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Malton fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Malton:s Britt Duffy showed great skill when he stopped Milford Parson:s penalty. In the 34th minute of the match Milford Parson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Britt Duffy skillfully saved the ball. In the 39th minute Broderick Shearer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Britt Duffy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dunnville's Broderick Shearer in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dunnville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Broderick Shearer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After recieving a nice pass, Dunnville's Milford Parson tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dunnville's Mitchel Muller got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Evrard Chouinard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dunnville's supporters rose to their feet, but Evrard Chouinard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Britt Duffy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Broderick Shearer put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Britt Duffy. Evrard Chouinard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Britt Duffy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
