Long Crow's late challenge caught a Lessard FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Long Crow helped the player get up and apologised. Emanuel Naylor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Swenson having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melvin Chartier during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chang Crowder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Lessard FC defense, Thad Gifford kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Darron Dupéré. The Lessard FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Darron Dupéré should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the game, Terence Wise cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Darron Dupéré was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 69 played minutes Taloyoak FC got a freekick which was hit by Long Crow. Elvin Rosado was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Heriberto Beausoleil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darron Dupéré having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Terence Wise managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taloyoak FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terence Wise was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was Malcolm Rosas who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Long Crow almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lessard FC's Darron Dupéré did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Taloyoak FC had won after a very even match.
