Spectators: 6731 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) Troy Hawk made the kick off and thus started the match. Sal Schafer hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Canyon AFC's Noel Manley got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Malton's Herbert Lécuyer got a free kick in the 7th minute. Britt Duffy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Manley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Troy Hawk notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Canyon AFC's Colby Bermudez. Colby Bermudez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15thth minute of the game Troy Hawk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canyon AFC's Colby Bermudez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bert McAllister kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Troy Hawk in the 22nd minute of play forced Canyon AFC's goalkeeper Colby Bermudez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colby Bermudez came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Malton's Dalton Graves. But to his dismay, Dalton Graves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Britt Duffy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Manley, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Jamie Beverly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malton's goalkeeper Britt Duffy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Britt Duffy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jamie Beverly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Canyon AFC's Colby Bermudez got control of the ball when Dalton Graves tried to sneak it across the goal line. 49 minutes into the match, Malton's Troy Hawk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Colby Bermudez narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Noel Manley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Britt Duffy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalton Graves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jamie Beverly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Britt Duffy having to interfere. A collision led to Malton getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Sal Schafer hit a great ball. After 62 played minutes Malton got a freekick which was hit by Israel Fenton. Noel Manley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Britt Duffy having to interfere. If Jamie Beverly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Malton's Dalton Graves got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Colby Bermudez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Troy Hawk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 93rd minute of the match Sal Schafer completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sal Schafer a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalton Graves in the 96th minute of play forced Canyon AFC's goalkeeper Colby Bermudez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malton's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
