Mathew Goguen kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Bamberton's goal looked a bit too open when Jamie Beverly came free, but Emory Lacharité reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Noel Manley came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Canyon AFC fans jumped to their feet. Colby Bermudez came out of the goal and Alfredo Huard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Huard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd match minute, Bamberton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Bradford to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the game, Hilton Corley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Colby Bermudez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bamberton eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
