Spectators: 6717 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 0) Dalton Graves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Emory Lacharité tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emory Lacharité took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Troy Hawk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hilton Corley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Britt Duffy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 14 minutes of play, Malton's Troy Hawk made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emory Lacharité was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hilton Corley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Troy Hawk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emory Lacharité having to interfere. Bamberton's Emory Lacharité played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Troy Hawk in the 30th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Herbert Lécuyer had to leave the field with a concussion. Arnaud Querry charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaud Querry the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes, Malton's Phil Rivers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emory Lacharité came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Malton reached it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalton Graves to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Dalton Graves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Malton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 61 minutes into the match, Bamberton's goalkeeper Emory Lacharité had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalton Graves. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Hilton Corley sped through Malton's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Britt Duffy. Sal Schafer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emory Lacharité having to interfere. Britt Duffy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Huard in the 81st minute of play. Dalton Graves struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Emory Lacharité didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malton. Sal Schafer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Malton's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
