Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bradford Lyon started the match with the kick off. Emory Lacharité came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Clermont's Kenton Mendoza. But to his dismay, Kenton Mendoza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 8 minutes into the game, Mathew Goguen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bamberton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clermont the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bamberton's Mathew Goguen got a free kick in the 8th minute. Bradford Lyon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Emory Lacharité tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Huard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hilton Corley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilton Corley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Huard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Royce Parsons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilton Corley in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Clermont's Bradford Lyon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emory Lacharité. Emory Lacharité yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 32ndth minute of the game Bradford Lyon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bamberton's Emory Lacharité was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Bamberton getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Arnaud Querry hit a great ball. If Kenton Mendoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Bradford Lyon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Royce Parsons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaud Querry in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Huard to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Clermont's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Huard came free, but Royce Parsons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kenton Mendoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bradford Lyon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emory Lacharité having to interfere. Hilton Corley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alfredo Huard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Clermont booed when Bamberton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Bradford didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bamberton's Emory Lacharité played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucien Rhoades in the 75th minute of play. Royce Parsons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Huard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bradford Lyon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Dale Dunlap hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 92 minutes, Alfredo Huard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bamberton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Huard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bamberton's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
