Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Theo Herring made the kick off and thus started the match. 11 minutes into the match, Richelieu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Troy Hawk came free, but Elias Sellers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jerrold Quinones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Troy Hawk hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Britt Duffy came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Richelieu FC's Jerrold Quinones. But to his dismay, Jerrold Quinones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Theo Herring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23rd play minutes Theo Herring shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Britt Duffy and just under the crossbar into goal. Elias Sellers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Troy Hawk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herman Deschamps charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herman Deschamps the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th minute, Herman Deschamps hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerrold Quinones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Britt Duffy having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Troy Hawk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Troy Hawk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dalton Graves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elias Sellers came out and tried to block the shot, but Dalton Graves slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Malton's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Herring came free, but Britt Duffy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Troy Hawk made the kick off in the second half. Dalton Graves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Elias Sellers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Troy Hawk came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Malton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Troy Hawk couldn't finish the play. Theo Herring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Britt Duffy having to interfere. Britt Duffy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Theo Herring showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 68 minute of play. Elias Sellers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Troy Hawk in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Malton's Dalton Graves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elias Sellers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dalton Graves struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Elias Sellers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malton. Theo Herring might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Britt Duffy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Theo Herring ran back to his position shaking his head. If Dalton Graves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerrold Quinones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sal Schafer kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Theo Herring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Britt Duffy having to interfere. The Richelieu FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Richelieu FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
