Dunnville's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emanuel Naylor 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Broderick Shearer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Darron Dupéré tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Broderick Shearer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darron Dupéré saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes, Ricky Pollock mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lessard FC and the Dunnville players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dunnville booed when Lessard FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricky Pollock didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mitchel Muller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chang Crowder to strike the kick off in the second half. Darron Dupéré was a little too slow when Mitchel Muller got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mitchel Muller got free with Darron Dupéré in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Broderick Shearer came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Dunnville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Broderick Shearer couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Lessard FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Chauncey Stein hit a great ball. Dunnville's Mitchel Muller pulled a muscle in his leg after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Elvin Rosado's late challenge caught a Dunnville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elvin Rosado helped the player get up and apologised. Elvin Rosado hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the game, Broderick Shearer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Darron Dupéré. Broderick Shearer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Darron Dupéré showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Broderick Shearer, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
