Robt Kline made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Lemieux in the 4th minute of play. Rick Drake sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute Florencio Lemieux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robt Kline saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacques Landrum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Aurelio Peters made a huge save. A hard shot 10 in the game by Jacques Landrum from a close distance when the talented Aurelio Peters managed to make a qualified save. Trail's players were relieved. After 12 played minutes Trail got a freekick which was hit by Georges Winter. In the 16thth minute of the game Raymundo Manley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trail's Aurelio Peters was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robt Kline made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Lemieux in the 19th minute of play. If Florencio Lemieux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute, Raymundo Manley fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jacques Landrum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacques Landrums short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Aurelio Peters to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Robt Kline made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Lemieux in the 40th minute of play. If Florencio Lemieux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th minute, Spencer Riel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Trail were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florencio Lemieux to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Collins AFC's Noble Favreau got a free kick in the 54th minute. Raymundo Manley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Aurelio Peters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Collins AFC's Jacques Landrum sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelio Peters narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Trail's Aurelio Peters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymundo Manley in the 61st minute of play. Rick Drake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robt Kline having to interfere. Trail were furious when Les Redd was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Trail:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Collins AFC:s goal. Rick Drake blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robt Kline having to make a save. A collision led to Collins AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Alphonse Randle hit a great ball. If Raymundo Manley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Trail defense, Raymundo Manley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Peters. The Trail fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Peters should have stopped the shot. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
