Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hilton Blackmon kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Fort de la mort's goalkeeper Ian Lefebvre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Coleman Drew. Hilton Blackmon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ian Lefebvre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hilton Blackmon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Coleman Drew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th match minute, Midway was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Lemelin to maneuver through the defense. Xavier Penn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coleman Drew could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Ian Lefebvre made a huge save. Elmo Sands's late challenge caught a Fort de la mort's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elmo Sands helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, Midway was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elmo Sands to maneuver through the defense. Ian Lefebvre made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Coleman Drew sent off a good shot on target. Tanner Aubé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Werner Terry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute of the match, Hilton Blackmon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ian Lefebvre saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hilton Blackmon struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ian Lefebvre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Midway. Werner Terry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanner Aubé, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Werner Terry stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tanner Aubé's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tanner Aubé stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Midway fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Midway's Hilton Blackmon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hilton Blackmon might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ian Lefebvre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hilton Blackmon ran back to his position shaking his head. Hilton Blackmon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Lefebvre having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Fort de la mort got a freekick which was hit by Walter Santos. In the 70th minute, Elmo Sands got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Coleman Drew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ian Lefebvre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hilton Blackmon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Fort de la mort booed when Midway was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeffry London didn't get a good kick on the ball. Werner Terry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanner Aubé, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Coleman Drew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 84 minutes, Xavier Penn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fort de la mort's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Penn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hilton Blackmon in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ian Lefebvre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Midway's zone, Tanner Aubé stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Werner Terry came out of the goal and Tanner Aubé tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanner Aubé in the 89th minute of play forced Midway's goalkeeper Werner Terry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chants of Fort de la mort echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Midway had held the ball for most of the match.
