After having played for 8 minutes, Alva Prather managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sicamous FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alva Prather was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alva Prather sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 14 minutes into the game, Guy Hendricks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Suffield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sicamous FC the free kick. Guy Hendricks hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alva Prather in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Taylor Dias saved Suffield from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucius Lanteigne got free with Taylor Dias in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20thth minute of the game Alva Prather who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suffield's Taylor Dias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jacques Dozier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Shad McGinnis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes, Sicamous FC's Arden Lambert shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Taylor Dias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sicamous FC reached it. 26 minutes into the match, Alva Prather dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Taylor Dias, 1-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Suffield:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sicamous FC:s goal. Edmundo Bonsaint shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Alva Prather was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Lucius Lanteignes short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Taylor Dias to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 46th match minute, Sicamous FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucius Lanteigne to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alva Prather to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee showed Alva Prather the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd match minute, Sicamous FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alva Prather to maneuver through the defense.
