Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Landon Fry made the kick off which started today's match. Tyler Richey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Jimmy Dennis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dion Fagan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Lance Favreau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dion Fagan in the 17th minute of play forced Irma's goalkeeper Antonio Wheeler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmy Dennis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Thetford's goalkeeper Jimmy Dennis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tyler Richey. The crowd rose to their feet as Irma's Landon Fry slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jimmy Dennis. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. Jimmy Dennis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Landon Fry in the 34th minute of play. Dion Fagan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Thetford's zone, Landon Fry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmy Dennis came out of the goal and Landon Fry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Anibal Hadley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The wind increased when Dion Fagan made the kick off in the second half. Irma's Antonio Wheeler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Irma from getting a goal against them. Landon Fry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimmy Dennis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyler Richey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo McFarland's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Antonio Wheeler skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jimmy Dennis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyler Richey in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Thetford was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Beaver to maneuver through the defense. When Dion Fagan came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Thetford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dion Fagan couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Landon Busch during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Landon Busch hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Irma's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Léon Parks in the 92nd minute. After taking down the ball on Irma's corner Rhett Ragland fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jimmy Dennis quite easily take care of the ball. If Anibal Hadley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Thetford players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Irma.
