Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lucien Moore took the kick off in the first half of the match. Glidden AFC's Terrell Cope got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Enrique Foreman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 11 minutes, Terrell Cope managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glidden AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terrell Cope was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucien Moore in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Quintana saved Glidden AFC from getting behind. Joesph Swift showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terrell Cope, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Lucien Moore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Virgilio Quintana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Glidden AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Russel Matos hit a great ball. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Glidden AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Geoffroi Choi was slow to take the kick. During this time Thompson AFC's players had a chance to rest. Virgilio Quintana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matt Mathis, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 46th minute, Matt Mathis made a precise shot to the right of Virgilio Quintana. Glidden AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Thompson AFC's Dwayne Cartwright got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute, Donat Moser got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucien Moore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Virgilio Quintana having to make a save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Glidden AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Thompson AFC. Geoffroi Choi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Virgilio Quintana. 0-2. After having played for 65 minutes, Lucien Moore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thompson AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucien Moore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donat Moser in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joesph Swift prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th match minute, Thompson AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dwayne Cartwright to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Donat Moser ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joesph Swift was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Donat Moser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donat Moser's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joesph Swift read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Thompson AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Shon Villanueva hit a great ball. If Terrell Cope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
