With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bryon Herman in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sammy Desaulniers saved Albany FC from getting behind. After 12 played minutes Albany FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas George. Bud Womack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donatien Mainville having to interfere. With a little luck, Albany FC's Sammy Desaulniers got control of the ball when Chung Wolf tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Sammy Desaulniers managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Otterburne AFC's Chung Wolf fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 37 played minutes, Otterburne AFC's Irving Fortune shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sammy Desaulniers came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Otterburne AFC reached it. Sterling Landry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Donatien Mainville tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bud Womack in the 44th minute of play forced Otterburne AFC's goalkeeper Donatien Mainville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bryon Herman made a kick off. Chung Wolf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sammy Desaulniers having to interfere. Sammy Desaulniers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryon Herman in the 53rd minute of the match. Bryon Herman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Albany FC's zone, Chung Wolf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sammy Desaulniers came out of the goal and Chung Wolf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bryon Herman hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Albany FC got a corner. Otterburne AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Curtis Ruffin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Albany FC's Jon Dobbs was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Donatien Mainville in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sammy Desaulniers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 77 minutes into the match, Jonas George had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donatien Mainville. Otterburne AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas George was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Emilio Narcisse's late challenge caught a Otterburne AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Narcisse helped the player get up and apologised. Emilio Narcisse kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th minute of the match Otterburne AFC got a corner. Albany FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Irving Fortune ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Otterburne AFC's corner Irving Fortune fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sammy Desaulniers quite easily take care of the ball. Dane Albert hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The Albany FC fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Albany FC's Sterling Landry looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
