After a defensive mix-up in Otterburne AFC's zone, James Wise stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donatien Mainville came out of the goal and James Wise tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Darrin LeBatelier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Donatien Mainville tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Thomson struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Donatien Mainville didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wingard. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Wingard:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Otterburne AFC:s goal. The referee gave Otterburne AFC a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Irving Fortune, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Wingard's Alvaro Beverly. 1-1. After some careless play in the Otterburne AFC defense, James Wise kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donatien Mainville. The Otterburne AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donatien Mainville should have stopped the shot. Otterburne AFC's Donatien Mainville played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Thomson in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Otterburne AFC's zone, Felipe Thomson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donatien Mainville came out of the goal and Felipe Thomson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Emmanuel Hope got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that James Wise's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donatien Mainville was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. When James Wise came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Wingard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that James Wise couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when James Wise made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, James Wise cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Donatien Mainville was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Donatien Mainville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Wise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donatien Mainville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Wise in the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Felipe Thomson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wingard's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Thomson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donatien Mainville breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th match minute, Wingard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Thomson to maneuver through the defense. If Darrin LeBatelier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wingard's James Wise got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. James Wise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Darrin LeBatelier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wingard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darrin LeBatelier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th match minute, Otterburne AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burl Cho to maneuver through the defense. If Léopold Boyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emmanuel Hope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Donatien Mainville tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Donatien Mainville managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Wingard's James Wise fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Donatien Mainville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Wise in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, Wingard was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Thomson to maneuver through the defense. Wingard's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
