Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rob Boles took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 9th minute, Timmy Avery left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hoosier fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Pinebluff AFC's Apollinaire Vasquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmy Avery in the 13th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juste Barber during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, one of Pinebluff AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pinebluff AFC. Cyril McManus shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Timmy Avery struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Apollinaire Vasquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hoosier. 22 minutes into the match, Pinebluff AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mike McClellan came free, but Apollinaire Vasquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mike McClellan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Apollinaire Vasquez came out and tried to block the shot, but Mike McClellan slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Hoosier's Felton Spencer got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute, Sherman Hopson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sherman Hopson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timmy Avery recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Mike McClellan made the kick off in the second half. Sherman Hopson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalton Yeager having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Timmy Avery managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hoosier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timmy Avery was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike McClellan in the 61st minute of play forced Pinebluff AFC's goalkeeper Apollinaire Vasquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hoosier's Timmy Avery in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pinebluff AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Timmy Lanctot hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Pinebluff AFC's Rob Boles was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 76th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Sherman Hopson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalton Yeager. Hoosier's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sherman Hopson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Rudolf Starks kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
