After having played for 35 minutes, Philibert Beam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seaton AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philibert Beam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Worsley FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Bobby McDonald hit a great ball. Worsley FC's Carter Dwyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thanh Marin in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 53rd minute, Bret Pitts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurèle Stafford was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Adan Loiselle hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Malik Goudreau, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Carter Dwyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philibert Beam in the 65th minute of play. If Thanh Marin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanh Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Edmond Hyatt fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seaton AFC's protests and gave Edmond Hyatt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute Cleo Jacobson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurèle Stafford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Philibert Beam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carter Dwyer was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Thanh Marin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Carter Dwyer made a huge save. Carter Dwyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philibert Beam in the 93rd minute of the match.
