Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dalton Barrios started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Willowdale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tyler Dow to maneuver through the defense. Roger Jimenez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute Dalton Barrios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clay Rosales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes, Dalton Barrios made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hectanooga FC's Clay Rosales tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Clay Rosales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honoré Li, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Dalton Barrios struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Clay Rosales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Willowdale. Roger Jimenez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Case read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After 32 played minutes Willowdale got a freekick which was hit by Russ Shepherd. After 35 minutes Willowdale's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sid Donaldson who took care of the corner kick. When Gervais Armstrong fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hectanooga FC's protests and gave Gervais Armstrong a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Hectanooga FC got a freekick which was hit by Gervais Armstrong. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Honoré Li in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clay Rosales prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

A collision led to Willowdale getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Sterling Laforest hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Willowdale's zone, Roger Jimenez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Case came out of the goal and Roger Jimenez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jospeh Reeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Case having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Willowdale's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Jimenez came free, but Richard Case reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hectanooga FC's Sylvestre McCann got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the game, Honoré Li cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Clay Rosales was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Hectanooga FC's Clay Rosales got control of the ball when Honoré Li tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Hectanooga FC's goalkeeper Clay Rosales had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honoré Li. Honoré Li received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Clay Rosales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hectanooga FC's Jospeh Reeder in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Willowdale's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Hectanooga FC's zone, Honoré Li stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clay Rosales came out of the goal and Honoré Li tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jospeh Reeder might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Case. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jospeh Reeder ran back to his position shaking his head. Dalton Barrios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clay Rosales having to interfere. If Dalton Barrios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roger Jimenez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cyrille Orr struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Richard Case didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hectanooga FC. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Willowdale had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
