After having played for 31 minutes, Cleo Jacobson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Worsley FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleo Jacobson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute Mike McClellan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Dwyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hoosier's Fredrick Stafford got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The tension between the Worsley FC and the Hoosier players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Worsley FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hoosier:s goal. Dalton Yeager showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan Westbrook in the 62nd minute of the match. Hoosier's Dalton Yeager played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Singleton in the 68th minute of play.
