Domenic Gour scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stéphane Boisclair, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Domenic Gour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Stéphane Boisclair tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Kearnss short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Leif Sneed to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Doyles getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Gayle Hammond kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Stéphane Boisclair made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Ryan in the 49th minute of play. After the first half Sunnybrook were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domenic Gour to strike the kick off in the second half. Stéphane Boisclair made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Domenic Gour sent off a good shot on target. Rodrigo Cruz struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Leif Sneed didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doyles. Doyles's Stéphane Boisclair proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Doyles from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Rodrigo Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Doyles's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leif Sneed breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Wilson Ryan came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Sunnybrook fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilson Ryan couldn't finish the play. Doyles's Stéphane Boisclair proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Doyles from getting a goal against them. The Doyles fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sunnybrook were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
