In the 5th minute Emery Hurley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jae Dumas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emery Hurley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Dewey Hutchinson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gunworth's supporters rose to their feet, but Dewey Hutchinson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jae Dumas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the match, Dapp AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emery Hurley came free, but Jae Dumas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes Dapp AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Smiley. Emery Hurley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jae Dumas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clint Sneed kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Royal Bouchard received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nazaire Bloom came out and tried to block the shot, but Royal Bouchard slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Dapp AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Clint Sneed hit a great ball. If Royal Bouchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Royal Bouchard in the 38th minute of play forced Gunworth's goalkeeper Nazaire Bloom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Royal Bouchard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nazaire Bloom having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clint Sneed in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nazaire Bloom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Royal Bouchard was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Dapp AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Clint Sneed hit a great ball. Emery Hurley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jae Dumas having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Clint Sneed hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pablo Cutler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Nazaire Bloom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Royal Bouchard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nazaire Bloom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nazaire Bloom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Cutler, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Pablo Cutler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nazaire Bloom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emery Hurley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the game, Clint Sneed cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Nazaire Bloom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gunworth players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dapp AFC.
