With a little luck, Hobbema AFC's Gavin Klein got control of the ball when Salvador Beausoleil tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Sandspit FC booed when Hobbema AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremiah Khan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gavin Klein acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 11th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emery Orozco. If Marcellin Epperson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremiah Khan hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Tracey Keen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Hobbema AFC booed when Sandspit FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grégoire Rosas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcellin Epperson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Salvador Beausoleil came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Sandspit FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Beausoleil couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Hobbema AFC's Jeremiah Khan got a free kick in the 30th minute. Emery Orozco, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Clayton Boudreaux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavin Klein having to interfere. Marcellin Epperson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grégoire Rosas having to interfere. Grégoire Rosas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hobert Clay in the 43rd minute of play. Marcellin Epperson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Amos Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavin Klein having to interfere. In the 53rd minute, Chi McMahon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sandspit FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 55 minutes into the game, Sam Jimenez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandspit FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hobbema AFC the free kick. If Marcellin Epperson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcellin Epperson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grégoire Rosas having to interfere. Grégoire Rosas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hobert Clay, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Gavin Klein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clayton Boudreaux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amos Romero struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Gavin Klein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandspit FC. Hobbema AFC's Marcellin Epperson got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Ricardo Crow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Marcellin Epperson came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Hobbema AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcellin Epperson couldn't finish the play. Salvador Beausoleil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gavin Klein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When German Pelletier fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hobbema AFC's protests and gave German Pelletier a yellow card for diving instead. If Clayton Boudreaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandspit FC's Salvador Beausoleil got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clayton Boudreaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremiah Khan hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Hobbema AFC's Gavin Klein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clayton Boudreaux in the 96th minute of play. Sandspit FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
