The audience was convinced that Royal Bouchard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Loren Couet was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. With a little luck, Endako's Loren Couet got control of the ball when Pablo Cutler tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dapp AFC's zone, Genaro Dove stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jae Dumas came out of the goal and Genaro Dove tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th match minute, Dapp AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Grady to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacharité was the one to do the kick off. If Clint Sneed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joshua Todd charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joshua Todd the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Endako got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Todd. Deangelo Francoeur's late challenge caught a Dapp AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Endako would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
