Spectators: 6743 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lyle Christie made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Royal Bouchard in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Austin Benedict saved Griffins AFC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Pablo Cutler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dapp AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Cutler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Austin Benedict breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the game, Robert Post was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Griffins AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dapp AFC the free kick. Robert Post hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Royal Bouchard in the 13th minute of play forced Griffins AFC's goalkeeper Austin Benedict to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Royal Bouchard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austin Benedict having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arron Ladner during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Griffins AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Arron Ladner hit a great ball. The referee gave Dapp AFC a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jospeh Hyatt, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Griffins AFC's Austin Benedict. 0-1. In the 23rd minute Royal Bouchard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Austin Benedict saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Pablo Cutler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dapp AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Cutler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Griffins AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Cutler came free, but Austin Benedict reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Yong Weathers notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Dapp AFC's Jae Dumas. Jae Dumas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Royal Bouchard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Pablo Cutler came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Dapp AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Cutler couldn't finish the play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Royal Bouchard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Griffins AFC's Austin Benedict was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pablo Cutler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austin Benedict having to interfere. Pablo Cutler might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Austin Benedict. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Cutler ran back to his position shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Royal Bouchard made a kick off. Pablo Cutler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Austin Benedict made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Royal Bouchard in the 55th minute of play forced Griffins AFC's goalkeeper Austin Benedict to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th match minute, Griffins AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gautier Johns to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the game, Pablo Cutler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Austin Benedict was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lyle Christie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yong Weathers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jae Dumas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute Lyle Christie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jae Dumas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Griffins AFC's Robert Post got a free kick in the 70th minute. Pablo Cutler struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Austin Benedict didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dapp AFC. Dapp AFC's Royal Bouchard got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jae Dumas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yong Weathers, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Clint Sneed hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. With his leg Austin Benedict managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Dapp AFC's Pablo Cutler fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pablo Cutler in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Austin Benedict, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Royal Bouchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95thth minute of the game Royal Bouchard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Griffins AFC's Austin Benedict was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 96th match minute, Griffins AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Longpré to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dapp AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
