Labrieville AFC's William Herbert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Labrieville AFC from getting a goal against them. Gavin Klein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Abbott in the 14th minute of the match. The corner ended in Tyrell Coles almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hobbema AFC's Gavin Klein did a great save. In the 18thth minute of the game Hobert Clay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Labrieville AFC's William Herbert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the game, German Pelletier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hobbema AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Labrieville AFC the free kick. The supporters of Labrieville AFC booed when Hobbema AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Pelletier didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Hobbema AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Riel came free, but Gavin Klein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Armando Riel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gavin Klein was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florencio Abbott to make the kick off. If Marcellin Epperson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Jeremiah Khan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hobbema AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremiah Khan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Herbert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. William Herbert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hobert Clay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florencio Abbott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavin Klein having to interfere. A hard shot 73 in the game by Armando Riel from a close distance when the talented Gavin Klein managed to make a qualified save. Hobbema AFC's players were relieved. William Herbert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcellin Epperson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Labrieville AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
