Eloy Simpson might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stan Bérard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eloy Simpson ran back to his position shaking his head. Bruno's Gayle Olson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Kane in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eloy Simpson in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stan Bérard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Garth Rainey came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Bruno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garth Rainey couldn't finish the play. In the 21st match minute, Climax FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Homer Layton to maneuver through the defense. If Garth Rainey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Climax FC! Garth Rainey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Stan Bérard made a huge save. Eloy Simpson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stan Bérard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Simpson in the 35th minute of play forced Climax FC's goalkeeper Stan Bérard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Climax FC's Hilario Kane got a free kick in the 40th minute. The audience was convinced that Eloy Simpson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stan Bérard was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Hilario Kane struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Gayle Olson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Climax FC. After having played for 47 minutes, Garret Belanger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Climax FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garret Belanger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Garret Belanger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Gayle Olson made a huge save. After some careless play in the Climax FC defense, Garth Rainey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stan Bérard. The Climax FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stan Bérard should have stopped the shot. Stan Bérard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Simpson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Climax FC booed when Bruno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Absolon Velazquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joshua Renteria, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Climax FC's goal looked a bit too open when Garth Rainey came free, but Stan Bérard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stan Bérard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garth Rainey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stan Bérard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Simpson in the 77th minute of the match. Garth Rainey took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stan Bérard. Stan Bérard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
