Spectators: 6734 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gerard Bousquet started the match with the kick off. Conrado Gentza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerard Bousquet in the 5th minute of the match. Balzac's Harland Rodrigues pulled a muscle in his leg after 9 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 9 minutes into the game, Donnie Espinosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elphinstone AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Balzac the free kick. After a rather tough play, Elphinstone AFC's Donnie Espinosa got a free kick in the 9th minute. Balzac's Julius Marcus was substituted for Harland Rodrigues. In the 10th minute, Donnie Espinosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Lyndon Barrette notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Elphinstone AFC's Rich Arias. Rich Arias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Graham Hutchison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Gerard Bousquet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elphinstone AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerard Bousquet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Gentza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lyndon Barrette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lyndon Barrette kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Elphinstone AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donnie Espinosa to maneuver through the defense. Lyndon Barrette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rich Arias having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Balzac's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Bousquet came free, but Conrado Gentza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Balzac's Alphonse McCarty got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Lyndon Barrette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rich Arias having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Lyndon Barrette made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Lyndon Barrette ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rich Arias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 59 minutes into the game, Elphinstone AFC's Gerard Bousquet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conrado Gentza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Balzac's zone, Gerard Bousquet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Gentza came out of the goal and Gerard Bousquet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Alphonse McCarty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elphinstone AFC's Rich Arias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Elphinstone AFC from getting a goal against them. Joey Kiser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Gentza having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Balzac's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Bousquet came free, but Conrado Gentza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alphonse McCarty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lyndon Barrette had several of the Elphinstone AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 88 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Rich Arias as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lyndon Barrette in the 92nd minute of play forced Elphinstone AFC's goalkeeper Rich Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Balzac got a corner. Elphinstone AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Freddie Cardenas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Freddie Cardenas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Elphinstone AFC's Rich Arias did a great save. After having played for 95 minutes, Graham Hutchison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balzac's supporters crossed their fingers, but Graham Hutchison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerard Bousquet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
