Gayle Olson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Joshua Renteria. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Simpson in the 15th minute of play forced Climax FC's goalkeeper Stan Bérard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stan Bérard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Simpson in the 56th minute of the match. Hilario Kane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gayle Olson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Hilario Kane cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gayle Olson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruno's Andrea Guidry shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. Eloy Simpson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Garth Rainey got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gayle Olson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pascal Wiley charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascal Wiley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Climax FC's zone, Garth Rainey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stan Bérard came out of the goal and Garth Rainey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Garth Rainey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Stan Bérard made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Climax FC had won after a very even match.
