In the 10th minute, one of Gallows AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gallows AFC. If Gerard Bousquet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ulrich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerard Bousquet's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Jonathan Ulrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Bousquet in the 22nd minute of play. Leonardo Bienvenue hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Mohammed Bédard made a precise shot to the right of Rich Arias. Elphinstone AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Gallows AFC's Jonathan Ulrich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard Bousquet in the 35th minute of play. If Joey Kiser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerard Bousquet in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ulrich saved Gallows AFC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerard Bousquet during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gerard Bousquet hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. A hard shot 42 in the game by Joey Kiser from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ulrich managed to make a qualified save. Gallows AFC's players were relieved.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerard Bousquet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Elphinstone AFC's goalkeeper Rich Arias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juan McKinnon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ulrich. Gallows AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Mohammed Bédard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ulrich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joey Kiser, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Rich Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarvis Beauchamp in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Davis Duran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Elphinstone AFC booed when Gallows AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Meredith didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mohammed Bédard came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Gallows AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohammed Bédard couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Gallows AFC's Brice Holloway got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 88 played minutes, Elphinstone AFC's Odis Ball shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ulrich came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Elphinstone AFC reached it. Joey Kiser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joey Kiser during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Elphinstone AFC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Joey Kiser hit a great ball. The Elphinstone AFC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
