Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gerard Bousquet got the match started through his kick off. Rich Arias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hilario Kane went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Elphinstone AFC's Joey Kiser in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Climax FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Joey Kiser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gerard Bousquet might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stan Bérard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerard Bousquet ran back to his position shaking his head. Joey Kiser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 played minutes Elphinstone AFC got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Duffy. Rich Arias made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Garret Belanger sent off a good shot on target. Rich Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Kane, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Rich Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vince Dailey in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Kane in the 22nd minute of play forced Elphinstone AFC's goalkeeper Rich Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stan Bérard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joey Kiser in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Garret Belanger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rich Arias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29thth minute of the game Joey Kiser who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Climax FC's Stan Bérard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 30 minutes, Scottie Espinoza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Climax FC and the Elphinstone AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joey Kiser recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerard Bousquet in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stan Bérard saved Climax FC from getting behind. Scottie Espinoza kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Garret Belanger was the one to do the kick off. Odis Ball thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Rich Arias, a very annoying self made goal in the 51st minute which led to 3-0. With a little luck, Climax FC's Stan Bérard got control of the ball when Joey Kiser tried to sneak it across the goal line. Garret Belanger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Rich Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vince Dailey struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Rich Arias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Climax FC. Onesime Novak hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. If Garret Belanger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Climax FC's Garret Belanger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rich Arias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Climax FC booed when Elphinstone AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onesime Novak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Elphinstone AFC's Gerard Bousquet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stan Bérard. Stan Bérard yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. When Joey Kiser came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Elphinstone AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joey Kiser couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Elphinstone AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Climax FC.
