Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chelan's Landon Horn started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Chelan's zone, Hector Moss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacques Mathews came out of the goal and Hector Moss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Landon Horn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 6th play minute Eddie Rowley came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hubert Aucoin. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Churchill's Winston Chalifour got a free kick in the 10th minute. Churchill's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Landon Horn scored to the left of an out of position Hubert Aucoin, making the score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Landon Horn in the 18th minute of play forced Churchill's goalkeeper Hubert Aucoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Churchill's Nolan Murdock nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacques Mathews made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Churchill's Hector Moss got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nolan Murdock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jacques Mathews tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hubert Aucoin made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Eddie Rowley sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the game, Landon Horn lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Hubert Aucoin. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nolan Murdock to make the kick off. If Hector Moss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eddie Rowley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nolan Murdock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jacques Mathews tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Landon Horn in the 64th minute of play forced Churchill's goalkeeper Hubert Aucoin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Chelan's Landon Horn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hubert Aucoin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th minute of the match Chelan got a corner. Churchill's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Deschenes ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Chelan's corner Daniel Deschenes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hubert Aucoin quite easily take care of the ball. Dee Lehman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hubert Aucoin having to interfere. If Landon Horn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd match minute, Churchill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perry Grady to maneuver through the defense. Churchill's Hubert Aucoin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Landon Horn in the 90th minute of play. Eddie Rowley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Hubert Aucoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Churchill's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
