After a defensive mix-up in Arelee's zone, Herbert Tipton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolf Grier came out of the goal and Herbert Tipton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arelee's Jamison Saenz got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Steve Waters came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Busby FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steve Waters couldn't finish the play. Steve Waters kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Arelee's Jordan Frederick managed to work through Busby FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jordan Frederick dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a rather tough play, Arelee's Clarence Hamby got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Herbert Tipton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolf Grier was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. If Herbert Tipton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jordan Frederick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jordan Frederick struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Rickey Pool didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arelee. Jay Spencer hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Arelee's zone, Herbert Tipton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolf Grier came out of the goal and Herbert Tipton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Arelee's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Tipton came free, but Rolf Grier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carrol Park was the one to do the kick off. Jamison Saenz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickey Pool having to interfere. Rickey Pool showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordan Frederick in the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Busby FC's Armand Fish got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes, Arelee's Abraham Duncan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rickey Pool came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arelee reached it. Arelee's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Carrol Park scored to the left of an out of position Rolf Grier, making the score, 0-1. Rolf Grier made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Herbert Tipton sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carrol Park in the 80th minute of play forced Arelee's goalkeeper Rolf Grier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rickey Pool showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordan Frederick, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Rolf Grier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carrol Park in the 96th minute of play.
