Spectators: 6731 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joseph Dykes started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Kinmount's goal looked a bit too open when Truman Lawson came free, but Antoine Cox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Nickolas Fournier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kinmount's supporters rose to their feet, but Nickolas Fournier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnny Epperson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Weston Ervin came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Hondo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Weston Ervin couldn't finish the play. After 13 minutes of play, Kinmount's Nickolas Fournier made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johnny Epperson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Kinmount defense, Truman Lawson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antoine Cox. The Kinmount fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antoine Cox should have stopped the shot. Grady Brunson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Johnny Epperson. Hondo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Weston Ervin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antoine Cox showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Truman Lawson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th match minute, Kinmount was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eli Brasseur to maneuver through the defense. When Eli Brasseur fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kinmount's protests and gave Eli Brasseur a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes Kinmount got a freekick which was hit by Eli Brasseur. Antoine Cox showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Weston Ervin in the 36th minute of the match. Nickolas Fournier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The audience was convinced that Truman Lawson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antoine Cox was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Johnny Epperson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Dykes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Noe Saucedo fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hondo's protests and gave Noe Saucedo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hondo getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Noe Saucedo hit a great ball. Johnny Epperson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joseph Dykes's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 81st minute Truman Lawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoine Cox saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Joseph Dykes, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 85 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Johnny Epperson was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Dykes in the 91st minute of play forced Hondo's goalkeeper Johnny Epperson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Joseph Dykes sped through Hondo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Johnny Epperson. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kinmount fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hondo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
