Rolf Grier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lindsey Leach in the 15th minute of the match. Tom Vera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rolf Grier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordan Frederick in the 30th minute of play forced Dugwal AFC's goalkeeper Trey Fecteau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Arelee's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Vera came free, but Rolf Grier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Jordan Frederick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arelee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jordan Frederick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Dugwal AFC's Trey Fecteau got control of the ball when Jamison Saenz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lindsey Leach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Rolf Grier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Jamison Saenz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arelee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jamison Saenz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dugwal AFC's zone, Jordan Frederick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trey Fecteau came out of the goal and Jordan Frederick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Lindsey Leach made the kick off in the second half. When Dugwal AFC's Lindsey Leach in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arelee's goalie prevented a goal. After 54 minutes, Lindsey Leach made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Arelee's Rolf Grier tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Lindsey Leach took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Rolf Grier to make any attempt to save it. 63 minutes into the game, Arelee's Jordan Frederick nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Trey Fecteau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jay Spencer during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th minute, Jay Spencer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Lindsey Leach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Forest Carnes kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Jordan Frederick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rusty McAllister kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Jay Spencer kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Tom Vera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dugwal AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
