Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Busby FC's Carrol Park started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Busby FC's Rickey Pool played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Dykes in the 8th minute of play. Carrol Park sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Herbert Tipton might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antoine Cox. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herbert Tipton ran back to his position shaking his head. When Carrol Park, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 13 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Antoine Cox was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Antoine Luke fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Busby FC's protests and gave Antoine Luke a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Busby FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Antoine Luke hit a great ball. Joseph Dykes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rickey Pool tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Tipton got free with Antoine Cox in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antoine Cox made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carrol Park in the 30th minute of play. If Herbert Tipton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th minute of the match, Steve Waters tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Antoine Cox saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 43rd minute, Kinmount's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Carrol Park fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Herbert Tipton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joseph Dykes was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Steve Waters was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Busby FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kinmount the free kick. In the 51st match minute, Busby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steve Waters to maneuver through the defense. If Joseph Dykes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Busby FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Carrol Park hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes Busby FC got a freekick which was hit by Carrol Park. Nickolas Fournier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickey Pool having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Dykes in the 88th minute of play forced Busby FC's goalkeeper Rickey Pool to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herbert Tipton in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antoine Cox prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kinmount eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
