Rickey Pool made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eldon Hunt in the 40th minute of play. Rocky Rutherford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carrol Park in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Steve Waters suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Vicente Stout kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herbert Tipton was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Busby FC booed when Fusilier FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dion Patel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rocky Rutherford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert Tipton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Coupart in the 80th minute of play forced Busby FC's goalkeeper Rickey Pool to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Herbert Tipton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herbert Tipton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Rocky Rutherford made a huge save. Rocky Rutherford made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Herbert Tipton sent off a good shot on target.
